I'm so SO excited to share with you another absolutely stunning wedding from earlier this year (May 2021) - this was a very special one as it was my first wedding post-covid and the very first of 2021! (I mean... how crazy is that sentence, it was mid way through May and had only just shot my first wedding of the year, however this one was certainly worth waiting for!!)
Victoria and Freddie, on their fifth try, made it down the aisle on the 18th May 2021, with their mothers watching on with iPhones in hand and a few tears in their eyes! These two have never asked for much out of their wedding day, just to get married with their mothers as witnesses, however it certainly was eventful getting there!
They initially wanted to get married in Mauritius last year and had to change locations to the Gilpin Hotel & Lake House (it was one of their first nights away together when dating so was a very meaningful location). You'd think it would of been an easy day to plan, but like we know, Covid had other ideas! Victoria and Freddie met 4 years ago through friends, it may have been love at first sight for Freddie but it took him 6 months to get Victoria out on a date, and as Victoria says, after that first date she instantly fell for him too.
Since then they've had a whirlwind adventure together and even got engaged after 2 years (with Freddie trying his hardest to pull Victoria out on a walk and Victoria near enough refusing... eventually he got his way and she soon realised what his 'walk' truly was - a proposal!) They were engaged for two more years, got a lovely little dog together and even had an addition to their family on the way on their wedding day (who caused a stir and a bit of drama on their wedding morning... but we won't mention that little one's antics!) They have certainly had a crazy and fun-filled few years!
The whole day was filled with plenty of laughter between these two and even ended with Freddie actually getting his way and persuading Victoria on the boat! I'm sure you'll agree though, it was well worth it for the photographs AND they both even actually had FUN out on the water!!
I'm so excited to share with you all their wedding blog from their special day. Here's to the beautiful Mr & Mrs Storrar!!

Victoria was kind enough to send me this heart-warming review!
"Camilla is absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t recommend her more. Camilla really takes the time and effort to get to know you as a couple and to understand what you want to achieve with your photographs. Camilla puts you at ease straight away (especially if you aren’t usually keen on having your photo taken like my husband!) and everything is extremely natural and, importantly to us, not forcibly posed! I have received so many compliments on my wedding photographs I have actually lost count! If you want someone who will fit into your day seamlessly and get the most incredible photographs, you must use Camilla."
