I spent a wonderful Autumn afternoon, on 5th October 2021, with Sarah, Geoffrey and Walter walking around Pooley Bridge and talking all things wedding - they actually get married in nearly a year to the day at the beautiful Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa!
They stayed up in the Lakes for a break away with their cute little 8 month old pup, as well as doing a few wed-min jobs (by all accounts the cake tasting at Mama Cakes Cumbria was amazing – I wouldn’t have expected anything less!)
It was honestly such a pleasure getting to know these two more and finding out how they both met – it was actually due to Geoffrey’s brother getting married, he was the bestman and Sarah was a bridesmaid – and hearing all the stories that went behind it! They both have an amazing sense of humour and on their third date they actually went on holiday together abroad for 10 days!
As Sarah put it ‘when you know, you know’. She was near on teetotal when they first met, but by that first holiday together that went out the window and was drinking and dancing on tables – something tells me Geoffrey is a ‘good’ influence haha! It definitely sounds like my type of holiday!
A year ago they welcomed Walter into the family, and even though he might be a lockdown puppy they’ve both put so much work into training him and honestly I could have stolen him in a heartbeat! SO CUTE!
Sarah & Geoffrey are one of those completely down to earth couples that are both obviously best friends and completely perfect together. I had so much fun chatting for nearly two hours straight and I’m honestly so excited to capture their big day later this year… but first, here’s a little preview of what we got up to on their pre wedding shoot.
