These two travelled all the way from Brighton to the Lake District back in Summer 2021, for a few days FULL of wedding related activities starting with a hair trial at with Gareth Lambert Hair at Aqua The Salon, a taster meal at their wedding venue Merewood Country House Hotel and plenty of other meetings with local suppliers - they certainly had a fun filled few days!!
The 3 of us wandered around Wast Water (Englands deepest lake) on the 3rd June while shooting their pre wedding snaps and it was so much fun getting to know them! TALKING OF FUN, Imogen and Luke literally ooze it! We spent the whole time laughing and chatting continuously, I don't think any of us came up for air!
We decided to meet at Wast Water, the place where Luke proposed to Imogen and got a good 6 "no's" from her before she eventually said yes! Everything was planned to perfection, the exact location (chosen from Google maps street view in the previous days) a tripod Luke set up throughout the trip in various places so it wouldn't be obvious when he set it up here to record the proposal , and a surprise stay at Langdale Chase that evening. I'm thrilled that we got to go back to the very spot for their pre wedding shoot!
Imogen & Luke originally met in secondary school but didn't get together until a little after they had left and have spent lots of their relationship doing long distance at different universities, but quite honestly being in their presence for even a few minutes it's easy to see why long distance wasn't an issue for them since they are well and truly made for each other! I couldn't resist sharing SO MANY photographs because every single one puts such a smile on my face and I think showcases the fun and joy Imogen and Luke bring.
This wonderful pair got married 3 months later, in September 2021 - it was a WONDERFUL day! So keep your eyes peeled for Imogen & Luke's wedding blog! But for now, enjoy these fun filled pre wedding photographs...
