I knew this wedding was going to be beautiful, but just WOW, what a day Lorraine & Martin had for their glorious Winters wedding at Healey Barn on the 15th of January 2022.
Like most couples now, the nerves were on for Lorraine and Martin on the lead up to their wedding day, worried that the dreaded Covid would take out a guest or two… little did they know that unfortunately Martin’s best man Gareth ended up testing positive earlier that week! However, another one of Martin’s friends came to the rescue with Mike even writing a surprise speech in time too! Luckily that was their only hurdle to overcome, and the day ran without a hitch, even with a touch of January sunshine blessing us all.
It’s easy to see how perfect Lorraine and Martin are for each other, meeting 3 years previous at work they ended up getting the CUTEST little Cavapoo called Teddy after only a few months of dating. Martin said that they never once questioned that move because they knew what they had was just “right”.
By April 2021 Martin was preparing to propose to Lorraine the day before her 30th birthday at a lovely little log cabin getaway, with of course Teddy joining the two of them. He luckily got the answer he wanted, and the following day celebrated not just Lorraine’s birthday with all her family, but also their engagement.
I’m so excited to share with you all their wedding preview from their big day… and they definitely honeymooned in style, flying from Manchester to the Maldives for 2 weeks!! (I am definitely 100% jealous!!!)
I wish these two a lifetime of happiness together – they certainly started their marriage the right way!! Let’s put a hand together to the beautiful Mr & Mrs Usher!!
