I can’t believe their day has been and gone!!!!
Back in March 2022 I had the opportunity to get to know Imogen & Tom with a walk along Bamburgh beach for their pre wedding shoot, we chatted all things first dates (a swipe right is to thank, followed by some very bad and a bit too flamboyant cocktails – however during Tom’s speech on Saturday he just called it a ‘bad first date’ followed by a hilarious reaction from Imogen!) and I got to hear all about their plans for the big day (including BETTER cocktails than on that first date!)
Six months later, on the 3rd September, Imogen & Tom’s wedding quickly came around and I can honestly say it was a day filled with everything they had hoped for and more! Set at the quintessentially quirky Charlton Hall, it had the flavours of a traditional wedding day with some serious fun (and giraffes head) thrown in for good measure! Shots were flowing VERY quickly and even the winds blowing the girls hair EVERYWHERE during the family formals couldn’t dampen their spirits (however it did cause some very funny photographs throughout the whole day!! Keep an eye out for all the veil photos!)
Nearly 12 months to the day the year before, Imogen had an inkling that Tom might propose at some point soon when he suddenly decided to join her dad at the allotment, what she didn’t realise was how soon that would be, when a few days later in the Lake District he got down on one knee while walking up a hill near Coniston. The walking boots certainly didn’t come out at Charlton Hall though luckily. However, instead they were replaced with beautiful pearl heels which was a theme of the day from Imogen’s earrings, veil and even their cake!! This cake was an absolute beauty and star of the day!! I NEVER include cake cutting photographs in my couples wedding previews, but I’ve certainly made an exception for this one!!!
I’ll let the photographs show you all the rest of Imogen & Tom’s story – and you’ll certainly see an awful lot of laughter throughout it! – but for now, I’d love to wish Imogen & Tom the most amazing life together and hope they enjoyed their wonderful honeymoon!
