In Summer last year, I spent a day with India & Ricky at Askham Hall for their wedding day that they had tried to have SO MANY TIMES, but like many couples over the past year, they were affected by Covid. However, I’m absolutely thrilled that they had the day they always imagined, with the weather even staying dry for the majority of the day!
Since their first date back in 2018 India and Ricky instantly knew there was something special between the two of them, there was no game-playing as Ricky said, and just true honesty between the two of them straight away. Only a few hours into their first date India met Ricky’s friends, but as the best man revealed, Ricky turned up with some of India’s red lipstick on him!
On the second date it was India’s turn to introduce him to the special people in her life… her Chihuahua’s! They quickly stole Ricky’s heart and adores the dogs nearly just as much as India does!
I hadn’t actually met India and Ricky until the big day, but honestly after everything they’d been through, chatting lots and all the date rearrangements, I felt like I already knew them both so well. They are such wonderful people, both kind and caring, as well as being utterly in love – which was obvious to see!
I have to say India won the most nervous award between the two of them the morning of the wedding, but as soon as she saw Ricky at the bottom of the aisle in the church you could tell those nerves soon washed away. They both got their dream relaxed summers wedding at Askham Hall, a day they’d been hoping for since they booked their wedding 3 years ago.
I am unbelievably thrilled that India and Ricky finally got everything they’ve ever wanted for their wedding day and can now officially say they're Mr & Mrs Jeynes!
