I love when I get the chance to do pre wedding shoots with any of my couples - and this was definitely no exception!
Keri & Matthew contacted me a few months ago asking about the possibility of a pre wedding shoot, and if they could bring along Lenny, their mini Jack Russell - which OBVIOUSLY I said yes to! Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE dogs... and Lenny was such a delight!
We met one early Saturday morning last month down at Derwent Water by Keswick, a place they take Lenny for walks quite often, to try and catch an Autumn sunrise - which to our surprise we actually did catch a glimpse of the sun, an incredibly rare occurrence this time of year in the Lakes!!! I love all of the photographs from this morning, the ones with great sun flare, as well as the ones of Matthew venturing into the lake to get Lenny's ball - I definitely couldn't resist taking of a few shots of that with Keri laughing in the background!
It was great to catch up with these two, getting to know them a little bit more and finding out everything they've got planned for their big day. I'm so super excited for 2018 to roll round now!!!
We did shoot a very very special photograph of the three of them for their save the dates... however I'm keeping that photo off the blog - for now - to keep it a surprise for Keri & Matthews guests. BUT, keep an eye out for me sharing it on the run up to their big day in Summer 2018, it's the most adorable photograph I think I've ever shot!!
But for now, I'll leave you with a little selection from the day - what naturals these two are in front of the camera. No nerves showed at all!!
