Fourth time's the charm! Well it certainly is in Georgina & Andrew's case!

After all the ups and downs, the postponements and what ifs, they finally got the day of their dreams in Coniston, on the 11th September 2021. with their beautiful tipi wedding reception which boasted beautiful views across the Lake District. What an amazing setting they had!

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know Georgina & Andrew since they booked me in 2018. We’ve had online meetings, a pre wedding shoot, MANY emails throughout Covid with the classic postponement issues, but honestly it made me so happy to see everything they’ve worked so hard for come together yesterday for such a spectacular day AND one that was styled to utter perfection! It was any photographer’s dream!

Georgina and Andrew have known each other most of their lives and with a small little blip at the start of their relationship (splitting for a few years) they were always destined to be together and came back to one another when the time was right. Their lives have crossed over in so many ways throughout the years, for example with family on either side being next door neighbours, and even with Andrew working for Georgina’s dad! By all accounts in the speeches there’s been some uncomfortable van rides together when lads banter in the workforce takes an uncomfortable turn!

It’s so obvious that Georgina & Andrew are 100% meant to be together, not just partners but also best friends.

We had what felt like most of Coniston turn out at the church to watch a local couple get married – a day everyone was excited for! We nipped away from their guests though part way through their tepee reception to head to Tarn Hows, a stunning tarn with spectacular views, and a place where they go together, to get some lovely couple photographs.

But I have to say that my standout moment was the near on fight at the bouquet toss – I can’t wait for CPD Film to showcase footage of that section of the day! Pete from CPD and I were in stitches!

There is SO MUCH MORE I could tell you about this special day, but instead I think the photographs will do the work for me!

I truly wish Georgina & Andrew the most amazing life together, they are a wonderful couple inside and out, and deserve to make many more fabulous memories together over the following decades!
