It was four months in the making!
On the 30th July 2021 Anna & Chris got married at the absolutely stunning Healey Barn with all their most favourite people! They were originally planning to get married abroad, but with the restrictions and travel issues in place at the time they decided to completely change their plans and get married in England in as little as four months! The fact that they planned and got married in FOUR MONTHS (and it was absolutely spectacular) blows my mind!!
Not many couples can plan a wedding so fast, but these two did it with ease and planned the most perfect day - even the rain held off for a few minutes to get some lovely couple photographs in the beautiful rolling countryside.
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know these throughout the start of the year, and it's certainly clear to see they like a party ... and by all accounts Chris and many of the guests partied a bit too hard the night before, but hangover or not that certainly didn't stop the fun that Friday!
Anna & Chris met on a course night out when surprisingly none of the other members turned up, so a course night out turned into their very first date with them quickly realising that they quite liked each other. And the rest is certainly history!
Their wedding day is certainly not one I'll forget any time soon, with Anna sure that her dad wouldn't show any emotion seeing her, but actually ended up crying, an usher taking the job of 'flower boy' down the aisle (those photos are hilarious and all the guests were in fits of laughter!) a guest pretending to object during the ceremony, not to mention the speeches that had everyone howling with laughter as well as a Mr & Mrs quiz hosted by Chris, but in true Anna and Chris style, they finished the night with the dance floor full and PLENTY of drinks (mainly espresso martinis from one table!) flowing.
I'm thrilled that Anna & Chris had the best day, it might not have been abroad and it might have rained for the majority of it, but it was still absolutely amazing and such fun to be able to capture for them both.
