SARAH & ALEX'S BEAUTIFUL BARN WEDDING AT THREE HILLS BARN | CUMBRIA

Today's wedding goes to one of my July 2018 couples - Sarah & Alex, and MY GOD, is it a beautiful one to start your week! These two got married at the amazing Three Hills Barn and the whole day was styled to perfection to match their personalities; from beautiful florals, calligraphy signage and even sheep skulls - there was nothing that wasn't thought of!

The morning started at Sarah's parents house, with her dad on coffee duty while the whole house was taken over by girls. Ready with an hour to spare, Sarah & the girls were able to sit down, have a laugh and play with Sarah's sisters gorgeous little boy, making the whole morning so unbelievably relaxed and fun.

Flash forward to their ceremony and Alex's reaction to seeing Sarah coming down the aisle is one I'll never forget, (definitely keep an eye out for that photograph!)

The rest of the day flew by in a massive blur, I've never worked a wedding that went so fast! Everyone was having fun, mingling and drinking outside the marquee, while listening to the stunning music from Sophia Brennan! Instead of me tell you ALL ABOUT the day, I'm going to condense it down to three notes then pass you over to Sarah:

1. I have some amazing couples!!! Alex & Sarah happily walked through the longest of grass to get to a section that had beautiful white florals in for some photographs, (and that was right by a patch a nettles - dedication to the photograph-cause right there!!)

2. Power naps totally work! A shout out to Sarah's friend and hairdresser who needed a slight power nap on the hay bales before the evening-do started.

3. A 13 hour day shooting never feels like one when you have the best couple and some amazingly fun family and friends at the wedding!

I'm going to pass you onto to Sarah now with a quick question and answer session for their Belle Bridal Blog feature:

Why did you choose decide to book me? “We spent so long looking for a photographer and it was so important to us to find the perfect photographer. Alex loves photography and found it hard finding someone he really liked. When we seen Camilla’s work on facebook we both fell in love with it and we were so excited when we booked her. Every week we would look out for her wedding previews and they always blew us away.”

Advice for other brides and grooms? “Enjoy every minute because the day will fly by so quick! Try to make time to take it all in, we sat in the marquee at night for 10 minutes while everyone was dancing and talked about the day and had a little chill out before carrying on dancing. Also do not stress about the small things I remember stressing about favors for weeks then I ended up forgetting to put them out but no one noticed and in the end if really didn’t matter.”

What was your highlight of the day? “The highlight of my dad was walking down the aisle and seeing Alex’s face, he made me feel so beautiful and loved and it really was so magical.”

Now let's leave the photographs to tell the rest of their magical story!!
