Two weeks ago I got to photograph my first stylised shoot since lockdown and WOW, we certainly started on a high and at a BRAND NEW VENUE!
Hidden River Cabins have been holding weddings for a little while now, BUT they just finished before lockdown their new Hidden River Barn, which I have to say is already in my top 5 venues in Cumbria! I was absolutely honoured to shoot here and kick 2020 off again with some fabulous suppliers and all the wonderfully helpful team members at Hidden River.
Earlier this year Julia Tasker Bridal and I wanted to set up a shoot to showcase some of her gowns, but with the impending wedding season about to start and just general life getting in the way, it wasn't until lockdown that we really had chance to spend time working on it, so as soon as restrictions lifted you couldn't stop us! This day was both amazing to be back working again but also just generally lovely to spend time with some of our favourite people in the industry AND because of how successful this shoot was (and fun!) we're planning yet another EXTRAVAGANT shoot for August... Stay tuned!
