I'm so excited to bring you my first wedding of 2018 - Karen & David's beautiful lakeside wedding!
Karen & David tied the knot on the 24th March 2018... and yes I know what you're thinking, "but it looks like the middle of Summer!!?!?!" They had the most stunning Spring day you could imagine, the sun shone and they were able to have their dream outside ceremony - a ceremony The Inn On The Lake is famous for! Not many venues give you a beautiful Lake District view while you're saying your vows.
This day was just a dream to work from start to finish, (well when I finished - I was only shooting up until the wedding breakfast, but I'm sure it was a great party way into the night).
The morning went by like a dream, Karen and her bridesmaids are just the most relaxed, lovely girls you could meet! AND, I've not mentioned yet Karen also had just THE DREAM supplier list, and I got to spend the morning not only chatting with Karen's girls, but also the fabulous Keseme (Makeup) and Claire (Hair).
Karen had decided that she wanted a first look with both her bridesmaids and her dad! I adore doing these first looks because no matter if you're an emotional person or not, everyone has a unique reaction, and Karen's nearest and dearest provided us with some of the sweetest first look photographs. Definitely keep an eye out for her dad's first look, it's so understated but SOOO cute!!! Pride was just oozing out of him!
David soon arrived and so did all of their guests, and with a blink of an eye the ceremony was upon us. This was the first time I've shot a wedding at The Inn On The Lake and I can seriously see why it's so famous for it's ceremonies... I mean where else can you get those views?! The setting, the weather, and the beautiful emotional moments during the ceremony, (as well as the pageboy crying his eyes out during a reading- check those photographs out!!), made for just the most perfect wedding with lots of laughter and a few tears.
