Just over a week ago I had a call from my good friend Sarah from Mia Bridal... she had lots of Charlie Brear dresses and separates in the shop that she was INCREDIBLY excited about, but the catch was they were only in for a week due to their trunk show. Sarah wanted to do a little impromptu shoot with them, however the second catch was I was only free one day that week, and that meant we had less than 48 hours to plan the shoot if we were going to do it...

Mission accepted!

Luckily we have some great friends in the industry who were more than happy to help take on the challenge as well, and they didn't think we were too mad in thinking we could pull this off! Askham Hall happily let us use their main house to shoot in, Lauren Amy Makeup had a full day of business however she juggled a couple of things around and freed up her morning to do the makeup for our models, and Sally from Roseberry Florist in Dalston happily put together a stunning bouquet for us. Sally is amazing, we contacted her less than 24 hours before the shoot and she ordered in the flowers that day for the bouquet. They were delivered at 9.30am the DAY OF THE SHOOT, and I picked up the beautiful bouquet by 10am! It was a bit of a mad rush in the morning, packing up all the dresses with Sarah to transport them to Askham Hall, flying round to Dalston to get the flowers, then heading to our shoot location... but it was so much fun!

Sometimes the spur of the moment ideas turn out to be the best!

A big special thanks to all of the suppliers who helped make this work, as well as our willing models, Sarah, Ellen and Nadya - I'm sure you'll agree they look wonderful in the dresses!

Anyway, that's enough from me... let me now show you our photographs from the day!

Where are we going next?
