Alex & George's day took place on a dry 22nd October - which to everyone in Cumbria knows that is a little miracle in itself!
Alex and George are a wonderful couple who have known each other since school. The whole day matched their warm personalities perfectly, being full of laughter and smiles throughout! They really made their wedding day incredibly personal, the devil is definitely in the detail with these two, from adding drawings from Alex's mother to the table decorations, invites and order of service, to something a little special as their wedding cake from Quite Contrary Cakes - definitely look out for that photograph below!
The girls started the day at The Winter Spa at The Halston for hair and makeup, then moved onto Alex's mother and fathers farmhouse to get ready, (flowers from Cochranes and wedding dress from Weddings by Charlotte Boyd), while the boys took over Alex and Georges house. They got married at St Michael and All Angels Church on Arthuret Road in Longtown, (one of the most beautiful churches I must add!), then moved on to The Garden at Eden for their reception - and when I say they moved on to, I mean drove in their fabulous wedding carriage of a lorry! (George is a lorry driver).
The day was such a wonderfully fun wedding to be part of and I wish them both the happiest life together.
