Today's wedding goes to the utterly amazing Lucy & Lloyd! These two beauties got married at The Wild Boar on the 10th August 2018, and had a wedding that was filled with love, laughter and a few happy tears throughout. This day was an absolute blast to be part of, and the easiest wedding to shoot, since these two are so unbelievably in love.
The morning started so chilled with champagne flowing and Lucy's yoga playlist on in the background - one way to stay relaxed! But before we knew it, it was time for Lucy to get in her dress and for her first looks - yup, plural! Lucy planned three first looks and each and every one of them were the cutest things! We did one with her dad, with her 6 bridesmaids, and with her grandma - ALL were so emotional and beautiful, and showed just how loved Lucy is by her nearest & dearest.
Their ceremony flew by in what felt like seconds, with wonderful readings and stories about how Lucy & Lloyd met making it a super personal ceremony. Post ceremony Lucy & Lloyd, CPD Film & Photography and I were whisked off off-roading in the back of a Land Rover to reach a beautiful tarn 5 minutes through the woods. Anyone who has ever got married at The Wild Boar, or is planning to, will understand just how hilarious this part of the day is - no-one prepares you for the highly entertaining, bumpy, roller-coaster of a ride it is in the back of the Land Rover, but luckily all four of us had a great time with little to no champagne spilled by the happy couple! Mix that with us getting a touch lost walking round the tarn to reach a little pier area, it was certainly eventful!
I don't know many other couples who would take all that in their stride - as well as wearing a wedding dress! - but these two certain did and totally win the most adventurous couple award!
It was certainly worth it for these photographs though, I'm sure you'll agree!
I left the party while the dance floor was still full and am sure these two partied well into the night with all their family & friends.
