A wedding is usually all about the couple getting married, all about who they are as a couple and their story up until this point. However today's wedding blog isn't just about the gorgeous couple, Jo & James, but also about their utterly adorable little family, with twin girls Isabel & Emily.
Ever since we all met up for their pre wedding shoot earlier in the Summer I was so excited to shoot their wedding because they are just the sweetest little family! And when the 26th August 2019 rolled round, it was the perfect day for them all!
All their friends & family made the trip for a long weekend up to the Lake District from both Birmingham and London, some even visiting the area for the very first time, and what a weekend for their first visit!! With glorious sunshine and temperatures soaring into the mid-20's, no-one could have asked for a more perfect wedding day!
There seemed to be no nerves on the morning of their big day yesterday for either Jo or James, (or even Emily and Isabel!) After their stunning outdoor ceremony, an amazingly relaxed drinks reception overlooking Ullswater and some beautifully funny speeches, we headed out of the Inn on the Lake's grounds and down to the Ullswater Steamers drop off/pick up area, where we were all spoilt with an hour on a fabulous boat with both music and champagne flowing!
There's so much about their big day I could share with you all, but instead I think I'll let the photographs tell the rest of the story... and like in their wedding preview the very next day on Facebook, I'm sure you'll agree, Isabel & Emily certainly stole the show!!
