It was mid April and temperatures hit a whopping 25 degrees! I bet in Hannah & Jordan's wildest dreams they would never have even imagined a wedding day like it!
They both booked me WAY back in September 2017, and ever since it has been wonderful keeping up with their lives, finding out that they were pregnant, catching up with them during at another one of my couples weddings and getting the news that little Niamh, their daughter, was welcomed into the world on the 4th October 2018, 6 months before their big day!
Fast forward a little bit... and Hannah & Jordan got married on the 19th April in a late afternoon wedding at Skitby House. The ceremony itself was wonderfully personal with Hannah's old teacher performing the ceremony, a reading from Hannah's brother, and with a drop of the rings from the bestman it calmed the nerves all round! Even though Niamh was only 6 months old, she certainly had already learnt the art of heckling during the ceremony - making it even more personal to these two!
No-one could have expected that a wedding in April could feel like the height of Summer, but Hannah & Jordan were so incredibly lucky with temperatures hitting around 25 degrees! The sunshine kept everyone outside enjoying the drinks, their sweet table, and the caricaturist - which certainly made plenty of people have a few laughs! 😂
These two are such a sweet couple, and it's been an honour getting to know them over the past year and a half. It was an absolute honour capturing their wedding and locking in time moments during what was such an amazing day! I wish the Ling family a lifetime of happiness together!
