EMMA & JOSH'S COLOURFULLY FLORAL BARN WEDDING AT THREE HILLS BARN | CUMBRIA

I'm the first person to admit that last year I didn't keep up with my wedding blogging at all, but at the start of 2019 I made a vow to myself that I'd catch up on all my past weddings and try to stay on top of, (or at least not get nearly 12 months behind), my current weddings. The silver lining to not blogging weddings for around 6ish months during last Summer is that now I can totally look back at all of 2018's weddings and remember just why I loved them all so much... and Emma & Josh's day is certainly no different!

These two tied the knot on the 23rd June 2018 at the wonderfully relaxed Three Hills Barn. The girls and I started the morning a little further away though at a beautiful farmhouse at Little Braithwaite, overlooking the fells while the girls got ready together, with plenty and bubbles flowing between them all! The morning was lovely and chilled, with the girls spread out over a few different rooms, getting their hair and makeup done one by one.

The bridal party were all ready with plenty of time to spare, so we decided to walk down the road so we could get some beautifully scenic photographs with the fells as our backdrop. I don't think they could have asked for a better background, and better weather - even though it was cloudy, it was still a very warm day and these photographs are still to date some of my favourites ever!

When I arrived at Three Hills, everyone had already got the celebrations underway with drinks by the marquee. After a few more minutes, everyone got ushered inside in preparations for Emma to arrive in a beautiful Volkswagen Beetle, loaned to her by a friend.

After the ceremony the party certainly got underway with live music from saxophone player Girl On Sax, plenty of more drinks, as well as speeches in the marquee before sitting down in the barn for some food. To all couples looking to get married at Three Hills, speeches in the marquee was such a fabulous idea - wonderfully bright and enjoyed by everyone in the warm weather!

Emma & Josh's big day was such a fun wedding to work, and such an easy wedding to photograph - when the couple are as in love as these two, it makes taking photographs as absolute breeze! I left the evening when the party was still going strong, and by the look of it, that wasn't going to change any time soon!

I'm sure Emma & Josh had a wonderfully magical day. It was certainly perfection from beginning to end!

A few words from Emma herself:

"Camilla was fantastic and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She was a pleasure to have around. On the morning of the wedding she fit right in with all the girls, she was so organised both on the day and in the run up to the wedding and the photos are stunning. Best of all, she had a preview of 40 photographs online for us the very next day, which was a lovely thing to wake up to the morning after the wedding."
