You might of heard me talk about it once or twice... or even 10 times! But the first weekend in May this year I did a triple hitter - three weddings in a row - and the second wedding goes to the beautiful Amy & Nick on the 4th May 2019.
The whole day was nothing short of perfection, from a stunning Maggie Sottero Designs Sottero and Midgely dress, to the appearance of Buzz and Herbie, the two Alpaca's who came for the reception drinks at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa. Oh and let's not forget the stunning Lake District view!!!
The day was such fun to be part of, starting in the morning at Amy's parents house with the house full of bridesmaids, makeup, hair, flower girls and paige boys - each room filled to the brim with people chatting, drinking and laughing - followed by a beautiful ceremony at the magnificent St Mary's Church in Workington.
The weather was on our side and by the time we reached Armathwaite Hall the guests were outside enjoying the live band and playing with the outdoor garden games. Time flew by in a blink of an eye and before we knew it everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast laughing, cheersing an shedding a tear or two through the speeches.
It's been a privilege to get to know Amy and Nick more throughout the planning of their wedding and on their big day, finding out how they met, (through Amy's job as a dental nurse after a little bit of persistence on Nick's part - super sweet story!!), and hearing all about Nick's stag do via his best man in his speech, (it sounded like they had a blast!)
I left the party while the dance floor was full to the brim, and I'm sure these two partied long into the evening.
I wish Amy and Nick all the love in the world on their adventure together, they certainly planned a great start to it by travelling to St Lucia on their honeymoon! What an amazing location, am I right??!!!
