ESME & NATHAN'S AMAZING FESTIVAL INSPIRED WEDDING DAY | NUTS IN MAY FESTIVAL SITE, CUMBRIA

Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone! I have an absolute BEAUTY of a wedding to show you all today! I'm still completely lost for words with Esme & Nathan's wedding, there was something absolutely unique and special about it and I know you're all just going to LOVE browsing through these two's big day back in June 2018.

I always say "a wedding is for you, you should plan a day that makes you happy," and these two are definitely advocates of that!

They started the day in a fairly traditional manner, with Esme & the girls getting ready at the Allerdale Court Hotel in the morning, while chatting over a few bubbles, followed by walking across the road to the church and getting married.

However that's where tradition stops. Esme & Nathan road their horse and cart from the church to the reception venue, (while starting on the champagne together), with it all decorated for their newly married status! And the reception venue... well I was blown away by it! They celebrated with their family & friends at the Nuts In May festival site, with an ice-cream van, lots of fair ground games, and even a story-teller recanting wonderfully magical tails!

They carried on their beautifully unique day with an afternoon tea Bake Off, where many of their guests brought cakes and tray bakes to be both eaten and judged, with winners announced in the speeches - and I must say, the cakes were to die for!

Esme & Nathan then proceeded to start the dancing off post speeches, at the woodland stage... yes you read that right - THE WOODLAND STAGE! There were two stages and the woodland one is a little arena, filled with magic and beauty! The perfect place to have your first dance as man and wife.

As the heavens opened at the end of the music set at the woodland stage, everyone moved inside for the country-styled hog roast, and also just in time for the next band to start on the indoor stage.

Esme & Nathan's whole day yesterday was just so perfect, planned and styled impeccably! Thinking about planning a wedding a touch differently? Why not take some inspiration from Esme & Nathan!
