Just WOW. I have no other words for this wedding!
OK, that's a lie, I'm a talker.
Alex & Scott's wedding last month was probably the most emotional wedding I have ever had the honour to be part of! From Alex and Scott having a first-look together before their ceremony, (massive tear jerker moment, with not a dry eye in the room - including me!), to Alex's dad's and step-dad's first look there were so many moments that'll stick out in my memory - AND THAT'S JUST THE MORNING!
Alex & Scott were lucky enough to have their wedding on one of the hottest weekends of the year so far, on the 4th May 2018, at The Roundthorn in Penrith. It was my first wedding at the venue, and it was so incredibly lovely! They had a wonderfully sunny outdoor ceremony, followed by drinks outside in the garden overlooking a beautiful view of Penrith and the Lake District. Their wedding was just filled with sunshine and laughter the entire day, I'm pretty sure the guests were outside more often than inside!
These two definitely have it all, and I'm 100% positive they were meant to fall in love and be together. The day was just perfect from start to finish, with a very big surprise announcement in the middle. After all the speeches were over, Alex and Scott had one last thing they wanted to fill all their guests in on, Scott got up for the second time to talk while his best man handed out an envelope to each table, with one person on each nominated to stand up, open it and let out the surprise. Most of the wedding party had no idea, but Alex and Scott were announcing their pregnancy! And what a way to announce it! In one fail swoop they told all their nearest and dearest!
We finished the day together with one of the most amazing sparkler exits I've shot... But that's enough from me, I'll let these photographs tell the rest of Alex & Scott's story - and what a story it is! I wish them all the love in the world!
