FRANCIS & SARAH'S BREATHTAKING CHURCH WEDDING | FOLLOWED BY THE WONDERFUL STONEYBECK INN

I always find August comes and goes so fast every single year, and you always plan to do so many things outside but I always think August is secretly notorious for having the worst of the Summer weather... well in Cumbria anyway!

So, on the 5th August for Francis and Sarah's wedding day I was half expecting a day full of rain, BUT luckily to our surprise after one or two little showers, once all the guests made it to the reception at The Stoneybeck Inn, the sun started to shine ready for the children's bouncy castle and the sunglasses came out!

The whole day with Francis, Sarah and their daughter Amelia... as well as their family and friends was just so lovely and incredibly relaxed! They got married in Our Lady's & St Joseph's Church on Warwick Road in Carlisle, which is just one of the most beautiful churches in the city, followed by their reception at The Stoneybeck Inn.

I have to say the highlight for me during the day were the speeches, I always love this point but Francis' bestmen seriously pulled all the stops out and revealed many many funny stories about the happy couple. I won't say what they are, but just check out below a few of the faces of laughter, shock, horror and just a touch of embarrassment from the happy couple. It was definitely all in good jest though and made for some very lively speeches!
