Their Wedding Story
Sophie & Adam’s story started with a Hinge notification... and yes, as Adam likes to tell it, Sophie may have made the first move online, but it was Adam who asked for a kiss first on their first date. Their first date in Manchester’s Northern Quarter turned into over five hours of conversation, and from then on they saw each other every single day for the next two weeks. Safe to say, when you know you know.
Fast forward a few years and everyone had made the journey up the M6 to the beautiful, tucked-away setting of Hidden River Barn to watch them say “I do.” White and green florals filled every corner, the rain stayed away (thank you, weather gods), and the whole day felt effortlessly elegant from beginning to end.
Adam shed more than a few tears as Sophie walked down the aisle... and if I’m honest, I think the rest of us weren’t far behind. Alan from Lake District Productions and I definitely had tears in our eyes too.
Then came the party. Espresso martinis flowing, a dance floor that barely emptied, and the kind of evening where nobody wanted it to end.
Sophie, the wonderful primary school teacher, and Adam, who recruits recruiters for a living, you’ve found the very best person to do life with.
Thank you for trusting me to capture it all. What a day, what a celebration, and what a start to married life!
