Their Wedding Story

On Saturday I spent the most amazing day with Megan & Nathan at the stunning Silverholme Estate.

On the shore of Windermere Megan & Nathan planned an amazing festival inspired wedding day, but like most UK festivals it rained throughout! HOWEVER, they certainly didn’t let that dampen their spirits with the party moved inside the tipi rather than on the lawn outside the house. Every little detail was thought out to perfection, with Megan’s mum actually making so many of them!! The bunting in the ceremony room just MADE it so perfect, and little did we know at the time, ended up being the place we used for the family formals too due to the weather. All the hard work the day before putting it up was certainly worth it!!

Neither Megan nor Nathan seemed nervous at all the morning of the wedding… that is until the bridesmaids then Megan started walking down the aisle (those photographs of Nathan are certainly some of my favourite reactions, with him only looking at her when she was basically right next to him!!) Umbrellas in hand, their guests were amazing and even ventured outside with us to get the confetti photo – not even rain stops us getting all the photographs!!

With shots/drinks flowing and speeches starting, the whole room was in hysterics throughout and Nathan surprised Megan in his speech by playing a football song for his beloved team (but don’t worry, he also did dedicate part of his speech to his new wife too!!) By the time the first dance rolled round everyone was itching to get on the dancefloor and it was packaged throughout the entire night!

Megan & Nathan really wanted their two little dogs to be part of their big day in one way or another, so we decided to get them both for a few photographs. These two are certainly posers (and yes, I’m not talking about Megan & Nathan, but more their two little dogs!!) With a little bit of help from Emily who was looking after them for the day, we certainly had a fun time with them both in the evening getting some cute little photographs!

I’d love to wish Megan & Nathan the most amazing life together, by the sounds of things it’ll be filled with fun and laughter, two things that already fill their life together so much!
