Meeting on the first day of university isn’t normally the beginning of a love story that actually LASTS… but for Laura & Alex, it really was. They met at the Students’ Union on their very first night at uni, but left without swapping numbers. This could have been the end of the story, right? Except, by some combination of fate and the fact that every student apparently drinks in the exact same places, they bumped into each other again the following night. Laura managed to get her number to Alex just before the fire alarm went off and they were evacuated. And honestly, if that isn’t a sign, I don’t know what is. 

Fast forward to their big day and these two are quite simply best friends (although one of Laura’s bridesmaids may have something to say about that claim). They’ve travelled the world together, built a pretty epic life side by side, and have an even more epic honeymoon planned, ending up in Australia! 

And yesterday? They got everything they’d imagined and more. An owl bringing their rings down the aisle, an outdoor reception in the grounds of Springkell House, speeches that had everyone laughing and crying (Laura mostly crying), and a dance floor that was absolutely brimming from start to finish.

Laura & Alex, you really are two of the loveliest people you could meet, and I’m so honoured I got to be there to capture it all for you.

What a day. What a pair. What a bloody good party. Here’s to the next chapter… and the honeymoon adventure!
