Hannah and Phil are honestly everything you want in a couple on their wedding day; organised, beautiful, and living their ultimate best lives!

 

Eight months ago we arranged a Zoom call, they’d just booked their wedding at Healey Barn and were looking for a photographer. The dress was already bought but plans we just being made! Four years ago when they initially started planning their big day Hannah had found her perfect dress for their Santorini wedding, however little did they know that all their plans were going to be scuppered with the news that Archie, their beautiful little boy, was on the way. Making a BIG entrance, Archie’s due date was actually on their very first wedding date! 

 

After cancelling their initial plan, they decided to concentrate on the arrival of Archie thinking they’d get married at some point after that. However, what they didn’t expect was a global pandemic and since Hannah & Phil live in Dubai with many family members dotted throughout the world, it just wasn’t going to be the right time until the world opened up again.

 

Only a truly organised couple (or a truly organised Hannah) could plan a wedding in 8 months and hadn’t even viewed the venue in person when they initially booked! But everything came together perfectly and the whole day was magical from start to finish… and I’m not just meaning because Magic Phil was the groom! (Phil’s a children’s TV & Radio presenter, as well as a magician in the UAE).

 

From Hannah’s parents first look to the most beautiful ceremony telling all the stories of how they first met (Chinese takeaways feature heavily in many stories, and on one of their early dates, being the last ones in the restaurant, they ended up slow dancing together with just one waiter watching, to the song Hero by Enrique Iglesias). It’s clear to see that Hannah & Phil truly live life to the fullest, travelling the world, moving to Dubai after a 2 week holiday there, and being completely perfect for each other. 

 

It was the biggest pleasure getting capture their big day for them and it’s even better to hear that they’ll be spending their honeymoon in Santorini where they initially planned to get married.

 

Here’s to the amazing Mr & Mrs Nelson. I hope Hannah & Phil continue to dance like nobody’s watching for the rest of their lives (or at least with one waiter watching that is!)
