Their Wedding Story

It feels like we have been all waiting a while for Ellie & Robbie’s big day. Not only did they book me over 2 years ago, but these two have actually been together since they were 15 years old! Starting out as friends first in secondary school, after a while they both soon realised that they liked each other as more than just friends and took the plunge and started dating each other. Nearly half of their lives later and with their cutest little girl Ivy stealing the show (sorry Ellie!) they finally had the day of their dreams at Low Hall The Lakes in the heart of the Lake District overlooking the fells surrounding them.

The day didn’t even encounter one hiccup – it was honestly that perfect! From the girls having the most chilled out morning, to the jaw dropping florals and serene outdoor ceremony. The sun shone throughout the day giving them the idyllic outdoor drinks reception most couples dare to dream about. 

It’s been such a pleasure getting to know Ellie & Robbie, it’s easy to see that these two are not just husband and wife, but also best friends. Since they booked me and before their day even had even begun, I knew it was going to be a super special one with their supplier list – Ellie certainly has great taste! I say Ellie, because it’s very well-known Robbie left all the decision making to her, and he certainly made the right choice there! 

I left the evening with the band in full swing and guests enjoying the last of the sunshine with drinks in hands (and a few shots!) I would love to wish Ellie, Robbie and Ivy the most amazing life together! Here’s to the new Mr & Mrs Wilkinson!
