I can't get over Charlie & James’ wedding yesterday!!!⁠

I had the most amazing opportunity to photograph Charlie & James' big day on the most beautiful crisp Winters day. With family travelling from all over the world they got to show them what the Lake District can truly look like... instead of the usual rain!⁠

The sunshine matched Charlie & James' glowing happiness all day. It's so easy to see why these two work so perfectly, and after hours long telephone calls with each other after meeting online, Charlie made the trip from London to Lancashire (a 3 hour train journey) to spend the day with James and even though it was just their first date, James had bought a bracelet for Charlie as a gift to show how much it meant to him her coming all the way. ⁠If that’s not true love I’m not quite sure what is!!

On Saturday Charlie wore that day 1 date bracelet and I don't think these two have stopped smiling since that day either!

The day ran so smoothly with everyone just thoroughly enjoying themselves and loving being gathered altogether. Saturday wasn’t their only wedding celebration though, early next year they’ll be heading back to South Africa to celebrate further with the rest of Charlie’s family who couldn’t make it (I’m telling you, after seeing those Cèilidh

moves on the dance floor I’m sure their second celebration will be just as lively!)

 

I’d love to wish Charlie & James the happiest of lives together, I’m sure these two have plenty of adventures to come together!
