Their Wedding Story

Briony & Jake are living proof that you should always trust the timing of your life!

These two first crossed paths years ago at a wedding—fitting, right? Briony instantly caught Jake’s eye, and after summoning a bit of courage, he finally struck up a conversation and asked for her number. They went on their first date... which Jake remembers as incredibly awkward (though Briony insists it wasn’t!). A second date followed, but just two days later, Briony sent a text to call things off. They both walked away thinking it just wasn’t meant to be.

Fast forward a few years, fate had other ideas. They bumped into each other again in a bar—this time with Briony trying to catch Jake’s eye. A few Snapchats and messages later, they gave that first date another shot… and this time, no awkward silences, no second thoughts—just a great connection that grew stronger with each date. It was clear: the timing was finally right.

Fast forward to last Saturday, and it was such a pleasure capturing Briony & Jake’s beautiful, windswept wedding day. They tied the knot at their local church, surrounded by family, friends, and stunning countryside. The celebrations continued under a dreamy sailcloth marquee in Eskdale—complete with wild weather, a 30-minute power cut, and a rumble of thunder that couldn't have mattered less to the guests but gave heart palpitations to the singers!

It truly was the perfect celebration for a wonderfully perfect couple. There are SO many gorgeous moments still to come, but for now, here’s Mr & Mrs Moore's full final wedding preview!
