After 8 years, a covid postponement and storm Barra making an appearance on their wedding day, Steph and Mike got the day of their dreams on the 7th December 2021 at GG’s Yard in Scotland, and I’m thrilled that I got to be part of their day capturing all their memories!!

Even though they only had around 30 guests, that didn’t stop them partying from the morning with the girls doing shots all the way through to evening fireworks and saxophone player giving Ibiza vibes . It truly was the most amazing day! But before we carry on can we please talk about the décor?! Steph’s dreams certainly came to reality with flowers climbing the stairs, stunning centrepieces, and a cake that looked nearly too good to eat!

Steph and Mike have been together for 8 years, meeting at a mutual friend’s leaving party, however it certainly wasn’t love at first sight for Steph calling him ‘cocky’ instantly. Mike luckily won her round throughout the night, and they went on their first date the very next day! Since then they’ve had so many adventures together – nearly as many as the amount of jobs Mike has had if his best men speech is anything to go by! – but one of their most memorable trips together was to Venice where Mike popped the question to Steph’s surprise… and we can certainly say the rest of history!

Getting married in December does inevitably mean that you’re not too fussed in terms of the weather, but I won’t think any of us could have predicted the second named storm of the season to hit on Tuesday, but I honestly can’t believe how game Steph and Mike were heading out into the winds and rain for photographs (at first Mike thought we were joking !!! However, it was so worth it to get some cute action shots even if we were all freezing and nearly got blown over countless times!)
