On the 27th May I spent a very windy but sunny day with the lovely Steph & Mark for their wedding day at Neston Cricket Club. 

 

We started the day with music, chatter and a touch of fizz, however they probably needed that champagne since a few minutes before I arrived with the girls Steph had actually BURNT A HOLE in one of her bridesmaids’ dresses by accident when trying to steam it!!! After a frantic trip to their alteration shop Steph’s bridesmaid came back with the dress in hand and a slightly bigger slit in the dress than originally planned! 

 

By the time Steph walked down the aisle, all the morning antics were well and truly behind them and the whole bridal party were certainly ready to fully celebrate the whole day. To everyone’s shock Steph actually had another surprise for the entire wedding (this time a planned one!!!) – even surprising Mark! – during the wedding breakfast. Unfortunately, we had a horrendous manager running the day who made everyone’s life a misery during the meal… however it was all a rouse and to everyone’s surprise it was secret singers who well and truly surprised everyone purposefully telling people off and doing things wrong before they let the cat out of the bag and started singing!

 

It was so lovely getting to capture Steph & Mark’s big day, and honestly when these two are together you can’t keep your eyes off them! Meeting over 10 years ago in a boxing club isn’t the usual ‘how I met your mother’ story, but it couldn’t be more perfect for these two and their two adorable little girls!

 

 I’d love to wish Steph & Mark the most amazing life together - the one thing I’m sure of is that it’s going to be filled with fun! Here’s to the new Mr & Mrs Palmer!
