Their Wedding Story

Sophie & James' wedding was four years in the making and after getting through a hiccup called Covid they finally had the day of their dreams on Saturday at the beautiful Low Wood Bay Hotel & Spa.

After waiting so long, I'm thrilled that they got the most perfect wedding and even had evening drinks on the lawn while the sun was setting across Windermere with their saxophone player getting the guests in the party spirit! I mean, does that not just sound like the perfect day?!?

Considering Sophie has been bridesmaid to two of my past brides, I knew she'd plan a spectacular day and I certainly wasn't wrong! From her dress to the flowers/styling and even the amazing weather, everything came together (even the Liverpool games wasn't a match for the big day - giving the boys a corner to watch while the rest of the party were tearing up the dance floor!)

Meeting in the club Concrete in Carlisle many years ago Sophie & James have certainly gone from strength to strength, buying a house together and even having their first little one called Louis (honestly, he was the hit of the wedding – or at least speeches after heckling Sophie’s dad during his speech! Keep an eye out for that photo evidence in the preview!)

Sophie & James are certainly two people who you’d want a night out with and 4(ish) years ago they booked a night out in Manchester together, little did Sophie know that James was planning to pop the question, however since James isn’t a fan of being the centre of attention, he did it when he came out of the shower in the hotel room! That’s certainly one was to catch your other half off guard!

It's so easy to see how perfectly matched Sophie & James are, both incredibly fun to be around and so kind, caring and utterly in love with their little boy Louis (however unfortunately for Sophie she didn’t get much of a look-in on the big day, Louis is certainly a daddy’s boy and was in James’ arms, or on his shoulders most of the day!) It was more than a pleasure getting to play a small part in their big day capturing all their future memories together and I’m thrilled to share with you all their full preview (with still PLENTY more photographs to come!)

And finally, I would just love to wish Sophie and James the most amazing start to married life together! Here’s to the new Mr & Mrs Bell!
