On the 23rd July I spent a beautifully warm summers day with the amazing Rebecca & Adam for their wedding at Ellingham Hall.

 

We started the day with music, chatter and a touch of Elderflower fizz with the girls getting ready and I instantly fell in love with Rebecca’s style - particularly her stunning earrings and hair accessories! The morning truly flew by in a flash and before we knew it Rebecca’s dad was ready and waiting outside for his first look. His reaction blew us all away and are seriously some of my favourite photographs (you definitely need to scroll down to see these!!)

 

Throughout the entire day it was easy to see how perfect Rebecca & Adam are together and have spent an amazing 7 years with each other after meeting in halls at university during a blackout. Ever since that first meeting where Rebecca was unloading a fresh food shop into a fridge with no power, they’ve laughter, joked and on the odd occasion Adam has taught Rebecca general life lessons like ‘the fridge doesn’t work in a power cut!’ 

 

During a trip to Scotland Adam planned to pop the question while they were out. He’d planned a game for Rebecca where she had to decipher some morse code, however little did she know that the morse code spelt out ‘Will You Marry Me’. By all accounts though once Rebecca had worked out the first word ‘Will’ she had a gut feeling and started to count the dots and dashes and didn’t even make it to officially working the rest of it out. While on cloud nine, one of the only other people who knew that Adam was going to propose was his mum, so as a little prank they decided to text her from Adam’s phone to tell her Rebecca said no!!! Don’t worry though, after a shocked text back they put her out of her misery and told her the truth!

 

Adam & Rebecca have so much fun and adventures ahead and I’m thrilled to have captured the start of their married life for them. I’ll let the photographs tell the rest of their story from their wedding day, but for now, here’s to the new Mr & Mrs Leaver!
