I kicked off my 2022 wedding calendar EARLY this year – 6 days in and I was back at it for Lyndsey and Stephen’s big day at Langley Castle and this one certainly hit all the Winter vibes: a stunning Hollywood glamour dress, a beautiful old castle with roaring fires and a layer of snow outside. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!!

It’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know Lyndsey and Stephen over the past few months and they certainly are one of my most chilled-out couples! These two were just so happy to get married and didn’t mind about the big wedding (only having a few guests) and when the flowers didn’t turn up until an hour before the ceremony Lyndsey was super chilled saying “it’s ok, I can easily just walk down the aisle without flowers” – most brides at this stage would have been having a meltdown (me included! )

Lyndsey and Stephen’s relationship is known as a whirlwind one (which was touched upon in the speeches) moving in together after only a couple of months. As Stephen said in his speech, Covid aided their relationship, helping it go faster than normal and giving them even more time together. A few months before they moved in together, they met in their local hospital atrium when Lyndsey was lost while muttering swear words under her breath, Stephen helped her with directions so that she could make it to her meeting on time. On her way out later, she saw him in the coffee shop and decided to stop to thank him and give him her number!! This chance encounter changed the rest of their lives… now tell me you don’t believe in fate/destiny after hearing their story!!

These two are 100% couple goals! As a photographer you’re always looking for the little looks and laughs between couples and Lyndsey and Stephen have it in bucket-loads! It was such a pleasure getting to both witness and capture their big day for them and what a way to start 2022 off with one of the most in love couple I’ve seen!

I wish them both the most amazing life together as a beautiful little family with Lyndsey’s son Jacob (I HAVE to say Jacob and Stephens relationship together was beautiful to watch too and Jacob performed his bestman duties perfectly! )
