Their Wedding Story
On Thursday the 2nd June I started another 3 wedding stint with my first wedding being the wonderful Kim & Ian’s at The Greenhill.
Meeting on a night out 10 years ago, and by the sounds of things Ian did a bit of persuading to get Kim on a date (to which Kim told her mum she was somewhere completely different!!) changed both of their lives for the better! Within months they had their first little one on the way and 10 years, three children and a house together later they finally got round to tying the knot!
Ian had planned out a super unique proposal for Kim, buying her a new license plate with what would have been her married initials/name on it, however even with dark hair Kim had a blonde moment and couldn’t understand why he’d bought it for her - it just didn’t make sense to her! After much laughter later she finally cottoned on and they began planning their big day!
Like so many couples this year, Kim & Ian have been another effected by covid having to postpone their wedding. Their big day ended up being four whole years in the making and luckily it was certainly worth the wait since we had the most amazing sunshine for their beautiful outdoor ceremony!
I left their day with the dance floor packed and a saxophone player taking centre stage. I’m positive it was certainly an evening to remember with lots of dancing, drinking and so much laughter! I honestly can’t wait to look through their evening photographs in a few weeks time.
I’ll let their photographs tell you the rest of their story, so for now I’ll wish the happy couple the most wonderful life together. To the new Mr & Mrs Arnold!!
