Georgia & Mike's wedding on Saturday at Hidden River Barn was honestly the best way to end my 6 weddings in 10 days stint! Not only was it a seriously stunning wedding that was styled to perfection, but also Georgia & Mike are two of the sweetest people with two super lovely little children - Austin & Pearl.

 

Six weeks earlier I’d shot Abbie, Mike’s sister’s wedding, so walking into Georgia’s morning was super amazing to see so many faces I knew and this continued throughout the entire day. We started the morning in one of the cabins on site, apart from a few little happy tears on Georgia’s side and a quiet nervousness from Mike up in the top house, both mornings ran super smoothly! Once Georgia was in her beautiful gown with an amazing detachable cape on, her dad (who lives the other side of the world normally) came in with a little present from Tiffany’s for her. They were the most amazing pearl drop earrings which Georgia instantly popped on for the big day, perfectly matching her outfit.

 

All morning Georgia had said that she didn’t think Mike would shed a tear when she came down the aisle (“maybe to Pearl⁠” she said, “but not to me”). However, as you can see from the photographs she got the exact reaction she was secretly hoping for and their ceremony flew by in the blink of an eye with a stunning floral circular backdrop made by the amazing Emma Cox Floristry.

 

Georgia & Mike met YEARS ago when they were back in school, however Georgia’s family were moving to the States and for years they lived on the other side of the world. Georgia later decided to move back to the UK since her sister was still over here and start a new life, a life where she bumped back into Mike again and we can certainly say the rest is history with a mixture of fate stepping in for them both too! Two beautiful children, a house and a wonderful life later, they got the day they had always dreamed of with Georgia’s parents coming back to the UK for the big day, and getting to celebrate altogether!

 

I left their big day with the dance floor overflowing and some hilarious dance moves popping! But before leaving, we stepped back outside for some pre-sunset shots before the sun disappeared behind the trees - these are super pretty photographs, definitely keep an eye out for them!!

 

I’d love to wish Georgia & Mike the most amazing life together, however if the past 10 years is anything to go by I’m sure they’ve got plenty of adventures to come!!
