Their Wedding Story

Third times a charm for Becky & Phil’s big day on Saturday at the oh-so beautiful Coniston Coppermines!!

These two are so funny and down to earth, it was an utter pleasure capturing their big day for them! We last met up 3 years ago for their pre wedding shoot, little did we know that everything would get postponed, they’d officially get married in a micro lockdown wedding, Becky would complete her PHD before the wedding, renovate then move houses AND have the most beautiful little girl Imogen in that time!

A LOT has happened in the last 3 years and all I can say is I hope these two learn how to have a chilled year at some point in the future!!

However, after all the big life decisions and changes they’ve made in the past 3 years, one thing has always stayed constant – their mountain top wedding at the Coppermine Cottages. Since these two officially got married in the height of covid while Becky was 5 months pregnant, for their ceremony they had a fabulous bridesmaids officiate it taking her role incredibly seriously with a stole that she turned over post ‘first kiss’ to say Mr & Dr on either side! Becky & Phil wrote some super personal and on occasion funny vows/promises to each other for the ceremony too, making the ceremony even more personal, however these two were upstaged slightly by Imogen wanting to take centre stage with them both throughout it all which was so cute.

I always notice the small moments of a ceremony, and what might not have been small about Becky’s entrance (walking in with their beloved Bramley the dog to a song Becky was singing on a pre-recording) the moment that I noticed and remember the most was Imogen with her fingers in her ears!!! Definitely check out that photo!! Note: Becky is a beautiful singer!!! Children however are utterly hilarious at the most inopportune times!

The whole day was relaxed, fun and filled with laughter (and a few tears in the speeches by Becky’s bridesmaids!) I left their big day with the dancefloor packed as the band was playing and by all accounts late in the night the guests were treated to a silent disco!!

I’m thrilled that after all this time Becky & Phil were able to have the wedding they planned all those years ago and I would love to wish their little family of three the most amazing life together.

Here’s to the ‘new’ (/not so new since they’ve been married for a while now), Mr & Mrs Viney-Baxter!
